Amazing stay for a wedding!
The staff were super friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The food was on point, especially the breakfast options. Our room was sleek and comfy. Just wished the bar area had more seating since it got a bit crowded. Highly recommend this place!

Exceptional Service and Beautiful Setting
I had a wonderful stay, primarily due to the outstanding staff who were incredibly attentive and made us feel right at home. The Contempo Double Room was well-appointed and clean, providing a cozy retreat, and breakfast in the restaurant featured a delightful range of fresh options. The beautifully maintained grounds invited long walks and were a joy to explore. One area for improvement would be to enhance the variety of seating options in common areas for guest relaxation.

beautiful grounds near abbey and parks for weekend walks
I loved wandering through the beautifully maintained gardens and strolling to the nearby Furness Abbey, which was just a short 800-meter walk away, adding charm to my stay and making it easy to explore local history. The friendly staff created a warm atmosphere and the stunning decor made for an enjoyable environment to relax after days spent discovering Barrow's attractions like the Dock Museum and Barrow Park, both just a few minutes away by foot.

Wow, what a stay! The staff were super friendly, making us feel at home right away. We enjoyed a cozy dinner at Oscars, that cod dish was delish! The room was spacious and really modern, just what we needed. Wish the parking was easier tho. it got a bit crowded at times.

The hotel boasts stunning architecture and beautifully kept gardens that provide a tranquil atmosphere. The room featured a comfortable bed, wide-screen TV, and a powerful shower, making for a pleasant retreat. Breakfast was a highlight, especially the egg station that was very well received. Despite multiple weddings taking place during our stay, noise levels were managed well, ensuring a peaceful experience.

Beautiful historic setting, stunning grounds, engaging garden pathways
Seasoned rooms lacking luxury feel!!! Erratic noise levels from nearby events are truly disruptive and should be addressed!!!

The dining experience in Oscars bar exceeded my expectations, with a lovely selection of food. I appreciated how the staff treated us with equal care, regardless of where we sat. The breakfast service the next morning was also impressively well done.
The room maintenance could use some attention.
